Need For Speed: Carbon arrived at my house today, and I haven’t had a chance to play on it yet. I really want to go back and try it out.

Yesterday I watched Being John Malkovich and Science of Sleep. Both of those films are realy cool. Definitely recommended.

A student at college today was explaining that the wheels on the back of his wheelchair were there to prevent him from falling over backwards. We couldn’t work out how they were supposed to work, so he said he’d demonstrate. I said I’d film it, and here goes…

Adam and I headed down to The Talbot after work (about 16:10) and started playing pool almost right away. Paul turned up a few minutes later in time to see me beat Adam, just as I had predicted. I played Paul after that and I beat him too! 😀 Much the same as at college I should have stopped playing after 2 games. 🙁

James showed up before too long, followed by Adam’s fiancé “our lass” (I think that’s her full name, but it might be Emma). Paul went back up to college to pick up Emma Carrol and when they returned that was everyone who would be turning up accounted for.

We played a lot of games of pool, including a couple of games against other random people in the pub. We could have done a lot better in those than we did, but blah. The more I drink the worse I get. I wonder if they’re somehow related.

Everyone left kind of early at 20:00 and I’ve spent most of the time in bed since then. I’ve spoken to no end of people, and almost gone out into town, but changed the plans when I realised I couldn’t be fucking bothered. I have to save my energy for football tomorrow after all. 😀

I really can’t wait for football. It’s strange that I’m looking forward to it so much considering I’ve only played once in so long. It’s so good though. I need to score 2 goals this week, minimum. I’ll let you know how it goes… 😀

It’s almost the end of half term week already. It always seems to go by a bit too fast.

I’ve spent the vast majority of the week sitting around with Adam watching stupid people doing stupid things in front of cameras. YouTube is great! 😀

James came in yesterday because he’s already quit the job he started on Monday because he disliked it a lot. That was weird, oh well. He passed his degree, so congratulations on that, again.

My driving lesson got cancelled last night because my instructor was ill, so I went up to The Rushley a bit earlier than I’d planned to and got quite drunk. It was a good night, but I didn’t really want to get out of bed for work this morning. I made it here about 15 minutes late, but still a good hour before Adam. 😛

I’m really hoping McDonalds does breakfast until 11 because Adam’s gone down there now to sort some food out for us. If all goes well I’ll be eating a Bacon and Egg McMuffin pretty soon. If all goes wrong then I’ll just have to settle for a quarter pounder with cheese for breakfast. 😀

Tonight I’ll be going to The Talbot with Adam, Emma, (possibly another Emma), Jade, James, Paul, and anyone else who decides to go along from work. Should be good. I intend to beat Adam at pool today. 🙂

I was just reading “an article about a man who was found mummified”:http://today.reuters.com/news/articlenews.aspx?type=oddlyEnoughNews&storyid=2007-02-19T141906Z_01_N17362175_RTRUKOC_0_US-DEATH-TELEVISION.xml in front of a loud television set… Turns out he’d been dead for about a year when they found him. The electricity had been on the whole time, the TV was “blaring” for that entire time, and yet neighbours claim they though he’d been in long-term care…

The thing I found weird about this all at first is that the man was found in front of a TV set, yet he was blind… I mean, obviously there’s still stuff to listen to, but was he deaf too? Weird stuff.

It’s half term this week. I wish it was always as quiet as this in the centre. 😀

Hopefully we’ll be sorting out a few issues that have been going on for a long time during the holiday. I’m looking forward to solving some problems, anyway.

I’m also looking forward to leaving work early! 😀

I was just pointed in the direction of the song in the topic and the video below. After watching the proper version on YouTube a couple of times I decided to give the version below a watch.

It made me laugh to myself, so hopefully you’ll find it somewhat entertaining. Very much in the vein of Numa Numa for those who know.

My sister came over a little while ago. I thought it’d be cool to show her my new TV and show off a bit… Turns out she completely owned me by turning up in her new “air blue” (silver) convertible Tigra… o_O

I don’t think I can really beat her on that one any time soon.

I decided to go out and buy a new TV today. It’s very nice so far. All I’ve done is play on GTA: San Andreas because I can’t be bothered to plug my Xbox in just yet, or find a surface that can hold 100kg to put it on. It’s a very nice picture, and hardly takes up any space! 😀
