I’ve been learning to play lead guitar today.

I suck.

I’m being taught how to play powerchords. It looks all nice and simple when you see someone who can actaully play playing it. Then you have a turn and you forget which finger is supposed to be on which fret, you find it physically impossible to keep one finger 2 frets away from the other finger if you have to move more than three frets in any direction. If you find yourself in the unusual situation of needing to change the strings you are playing then you’re screwed. It will take at least half an hour of playing Paranoid before you manage that.
