I woke up and got ready for work today. I decided to go out and scrape the ice off Lizz’s windscreen while Lizz had some breakfast.

I opened the door to find that it had snowed overnight! Unfortunately it was only a little bit, and it had frozen over since then, making it very slippery. I started to take the ice off, but it was a lot more difficult than normal.

We set off for the train station only to get turned around because someone had managed to run off the road and into a street sign. I ended up missing the train and catching the next bus, which was either late, or the one before it was early, because I was waiting for over 20 minutes.

In Nottingham there’s not even a bit of frost. Amazing.
