I walk by a canal to get to work in the mornings. It’s quite nice to have something better to look at than a road or a railway for a change. I’ve been a bit worried when walking along the path recently though. When I pass someone I end up close to the edge, and it’s very slippery with all the ice. I don’t particularly want a near-zero plunge before 9am, or at any other time of day, actually.
I think the buildings along the canal are pretty cool, although I often wonder how much water seeps through the bricks. Oh well, I guess the buildings don’t have cellars.
I like the reflection in this. It’s pretty unspoilt by ripples and such.
