Well, I’m in the math lab, I’ve been here for 1 and a half hours already. Only another half an hour to go and then I can leave.

I think I’ll go and get a sandwich or something like that.

My English class is going to be shit this semester, I can tell already.

Well, it’ll be shit unless I want to be an annoying bastard. Which is a distinct possibility.

My teacher is a completely annoying woman.

The “theme” for this semester is Media and propaganda…

I can tell already that my teacher is dead set against corporate ANYTHING… Or at least she thinks she is.

I fucking hate people like her. She doesn’t quite know what she’s talking about. I can tell she wants to be “alternative” and also make everyone else “alternative” not realising that if EVERYONE is alternative then NOBODY is alternative. I hate her already and the class is crap.

I have got to do an essay every week or two, I have to do all kinds of other homework on other essays, I have a bunch of tests, I have to buy at least 4 books, I have to do 4 hours of work for Media Activists… It’s complete fucking bullshit. I don’t want to work for any Media Activists, bunch of fucking hippies, get a real fucking job.

Corporations are here to stay and you couldn’t live without them in comfort so fucking get over your stupid hippy bullshit now.

Wow, see, that’s how much I hate that class already. I’ve only been there for an hour and 15 minutes.

The teacher woman said that she’s suspicious of using a highlighter to mark stuff in books when we’re annotating crap. She said that people just mark stuff that they think is important when they’re reading it, only to find out that it’s not important later on.

I asked “Why are people more likely to incorrectly mark things as important because they have a highlighter in their hands rather than a pencil?”

She said “Well, they’re not more likely, but it’ll be more of a distraction because there’s yellow all over the place.”

Now, hold on one second… If you’re reading through your notes then SURELY you are just as likely to notice your notes in pencil as you are to notice your notes in highlighter, because they are exactly what you’re looking for… Right? I think so, at least to an extent.

Later she said recommended that people who usually use highlighters try using a pencil, because the aim of the class is to encourage people to try new methods etc.

Well, I usually make notes in pencil, do you think she would encourage me to use a highlighter to try something different? NO she would not. She’s an idiot and she says things when it suits her. She has so many pitfalls it’s unbelievable.

I’m having quite a lot of fun right now. The girl next to me is typing really quickly and keeps looking across to watch me type faster, then she types faster than I’m doing so I type even faster still. It’s funny.

She keeps stopping to press backspace, she must think I’m really cool for not making any mistakes. The only reason she thinks I’m not making mistakes, though, is because i’m not stopping to correct them 😀

Anyway, I can leave in another 15 minutes. This has been less boring than I had expected.

I did 2 out of 3 of my Computer Science tasks for this week, so that means I’ll have no homework to do tomorrow.

I’ll wrap this up for now, find something different to do for a few minutes.
