Argh!
I handed in some homework for CS and he deducted 2 points because my program apparently didn’t handle two times being the same as each other. This is, of course, complete bullshit and my functions did exactly what they were supposed to do. It sucks so much. The functions should only return 0 or 1. 1 if it’s correct (isBefore an isAfter are my functions) and 0 if it’s incorrect.
So, if 2 times are the same as each other what would you expect isBefore to say? What would you expect isAfter to say?
I would expect them to both return 0 because if two times are the same they are neither before nor after one another.
But noooooo, apparently that’s not right because “the computer wants to know” if the two are the same.
Well, if by computer you mean the person using the functions then he can test with isBefore AND isAfter and if they both return 0 then the only possible answer is that the times are the same.
I hate teachers sometimes. They’re morons.
I’ve just been doing more CS homework, and this sucks even more. I hate writing these shitty little applications that nobody will ever use.
I know how to do the things they’re apaprently teaching me, so why not see that, and give me something interesting to do?
Blah, oh well, whatever.
I’ve kind of run out of changes to make on this site… There are a couple of things I suppose, but nobody would notice them except me, so why bother?
Oh well, it’s the weekend now, I’ll see Laura and things will all be better again. Good.
