This morning I wrote a perl script to be used in conjunction with an iTunes Windows plugin called MPlugin by some guy called localhost.
It basically lets you advertise the song you’re currently listening to in iTunes on IRC through XChat. It didn’t take very long to write and it seems to be the first script of its kind on XChat.org for Windows.
You can download it in three formats zip tar.gz and tar.bz2 archives. There are instructions included, as well as the iTunes plugin.

So yay, it’s about time it existed. I missed having that functionality in XMMS and stuff.
