I wrote another PipSqueek module today. That’s 5 modules so far, as well as a little change of some of l8nite’s code so that the bot recognises it’s own name when it has a comma after it, instead of just a colon. Although l8nite rejected that change even though a comma is the default character suffix in XChat now. Oh well.
My new module retrieves weather information for a zip code from . So, that should be quite useful. More so than the majority of my other modules, except perhaps the tax module, which works out sales tax based on a state, which is cool.

I just noticed below some stuff on weather.com it says
[x] English units [ ] Metric units
And shows it in fahrenheit by default… So … That’s ass backwards. English people ARE metric (mostly).
It should say Imperial and Metric. It’s so dumb. Inferring that metric is non-English o_O
It makes a shitload more sense than fucked up imperial measurements. Continue reading →
