Yesterday I did some more driving with Laura’s mom, which was cool. I felt surprisingly more comfortable driving this time. I went to 5elix and picked up my tuxedo for today.

Today is Laura’s junior prom, which is a big deal here in America.

Now, once I reached 16 years old I was sure that I’d missed all chances I would ever have to attend a high school prom, or anything remotely like it, and yet here I am experiencing all these quintessentially American things. It’s quite amazing.
Probably not quite as amazing as the fact that I just used the word quintessential and spelled it correctly first time :)

I had a dream last night that I was top of my math class, and all my friends from everywhere I’ve ever been to school were there. The one I remember most though was Edward Bounford. I’d just like to take this opportunity to gloat that I at least beat him at something educational in school, even if it was only in my head. Unfortunately the teacher did not seem to know who I was, and so I was trying to hide so I wouldn’t be pointed out in front of the whole class, and congratulated in front of everyone, but everyone fricking pointed me out to the teacher! Bastards. Strangely, the person I remember pointing me out most was Katherine someone from my school in Nailsea. I think her surname might have been Harper o_O I probably spoke to her less than 2 times in the year and a half I was in her class. I wasn’t attracted to her or anything, but it was her that I remember pointing me out for the teacher.

Then, a couple of minutes later I had another dream where I was sat in a car out in the driveway of this house, and some burglars ran up and broke into the house while I sat in the car and watched. So I went to call 911 but pressed it backwards, which I think is some kind of reference to my annoyance about numpad on a computer keyboard and the numbers on a telephone being in the exact opposite order to each other, for no good reason. But yeah, I don’t remember anything more than that.

I guess I better go shower and shave and start getting ready for prom. I’ll be sure to upload some photos at some point soon. Probably tomorrow if I remember.
