I also realised that I haven’t mentioned that there are some contractors here every week for the enxt 2 months or so doing some landscaping.
Trees have been chopped down, fences are disappearing left and right, big trenches are being dug, the lawns are … Well, gone really. It’s amazing what they’ve done in half a week.
The main problem that I have is that on their first day here they did all of the chainsaw work between 7am and 9am… On one of my days off. :( It’s bad to be woken up by a chainsaw, and kept awake for 2 hours.
Yesterday Laura and I rented Lost In Translation with Bill Murray in it… Unfortunately the disc was too scratched to play properly, so we watched the first part and then it stopped playing. :(
I’m sure we’ll watch it at another point in the future, it’s good from what I’ve seen so far.
There are about 8 people (unless it’s down to 6 now (I dunno)) going out for a meal tonight, before the prom. We’ve got a limo picking us up from Laura’s school, after the photos we’ve got scheduled there. We’re all going to Stacey’s at Waterford in Dublin (not Ireland :) which is apprently nice.
The guy who writes the Dilbert comic apparently eats there quite a lot, which is cool.
