I just got back from the KFOG KaBoom! It was cool. It was slow at the beginning while ‘Robert Randolph and the Family Band’ were on, it got a bit better while The Waifs were playing and then got really good because of Train. The atmosphere in the crowd was great… A bunch of old hippy people were there and stuff… A lot of people smoking, one or two of them were even smoking tobacco… But only one or two.

The fireworks… Wow. They were amazing. Simply the best fireworks I have ever seen in my entire life. I’ll try to get some pictures uploaded at some point soon, I’m too tired at the moment though o_O

we caught BART back home. It was packed. There was no room to move and before long it got really hot in there too.
There was one guy and he kept pushing this girl and she kept falling into me… And it was hot, so I got bothered really quickly. I turned and noticed that the guy was looking at me. I stared at hime for like 2 minutes or something. Every time he looked back I was still staring at him. He didn’t push the girl into me after that. :D

After a few stations it got better, there was room to breathe again, then we got off BART and went to the truck. We drove home via 7/11 so I could grab some food. Laura came back here for a couple of minutes to eat some stuff and rest for a couple of minutes and then she went home.

So that was my day. Fun-filled for fantastically flamboyant firecrackers… Or something alliterative like that. It was fun. Continue reading →
