My internet connection keeps going down for a minute or two, and then coming back. It’s quite irritating because I just resume my downloads and stuff and then they’re canceled again! :(

The weirdest thing was that I was viewing my XML homework in IE (it sucks but I have to) when the connection went down and IE instantly wanted me to go into Offline Mode… So I did, then I got bored of IE so I closed it down.

A couple of seconds later my connection came back up, so I tried to sign into MSN Messenger and I got this…

Excuse me, but I don’t see how one application being in one mode, AND CLOSED, should affect what another application does when there is obviously an internet connection available, and the user requests a connection.

Microsoft do some pretty stupid stuff, but this is the most stupid one I’ve seen in a while.
