I finally got a grade for my journalism homework. I got 180 out of 200, which is an A. It seems that I should have an A in the class when she finally hands over the grades. So that’s good. :)

I ordered the 6th book in The Dark Tower series by Stephen King, but I still haven’t managed to finish the 5th :( I spend so much damn time on my computer, oh well, at least I’ll be able to take it with me on vacation and have something to read when everyone else is reading or busy.

I also ordered The Secret World Of Polly Flint, which is a book I mentioned on my weblog a long time ago. It’s a children’s book written by Helen Cresswell, the only author who has signed a book for me, also the only on I’ve ever met and asked ;) The fact that it’s a children’s book doesn’t matter much, I remember really liking the story when I read it in school about 9 years ago, so for the sake of $1.05 I might as well just get it.

I think I’ll probably buy Stig Of The Dump if I find that for a similar price. :D What a great book that is.

I’ve watched The Day After Tomorrow and Shrek 2 recently… The Day After Tomorrow was a bit lame really, glad I didn’t pay to go to the cinema to watch it. Shrek 2, however, was great, as expected. Very funny. I recognised a few of the voices too, John Cleese and Jennifer Saunders, among a few others. I like the Shrek movies, glad they’re making Shrek 3 and 4. Continue reading →
