I got to work today a couple of hours ago and was sat talking to David for a while. David said that he had a 2 and a half hour meeting with Rob (Managing Director) and Martin (Professional Fool) regarding his resignation. David told me that Rob had asked David to come up with a better working rota. Rob said that Mark wasn’t going to be fired. Rob also told David to think about a better wage for himself and to not tell anyone else about it. So, naturally, David told me straight away.

I’m afraid there’s no way on this Earth that I am going to continue to work here if David is getting paid more than I am. Sometimes he does more work than me, sometimes I do more than he does. I put in more hours than anyone else. David and I are probably on a level with each other. A level which, unfortunately, seems to be above everyone else in the company. Nobody puts in the effort that we do. It sounds big headed but it’s true.

Now, I know that David has handed in his notice, they know I know this. I know that there is no way David would stay unless some major changes were made. They also know that I know this.

If David does decide to stay and things that I can see are not changed then I am going to know that they are paying David more. How do they think David could hide it from me, even if he wanted to, which I doubt he would.

They must think I’m dumb to not want David to let me find out that he’s getting more money. There’s no way David would stay here otherwise.

I sure do hope that Rob is willing to pay me more money as well, I sincerely doubt he will be willing though. That’s just the kind of place this is.

Another sad thing is that Rob dislikes me. He likes David. If I threatened to leave then I doubt that Rob would even be that bothered. They don’t seem to notice the work that I do.

I’m here more than any other person. I do more work than everyone, barring David, who probably does more work because of the VB “code” he has to write.

I hate to sound like a whiny bitch but I am underappreciated here. I was kind of hoping that David would quit so that I could see how they cope during the two weeks that I am in America. I would love to see the state of the place when I got back.

I can imagine the “For Sale” sign on the front of the building now. That would make my day… As well as making me look for a new job.

I got an email from Martin regarding my email to Mark. I will post that when I have sent my reply to Martin.

I have fixed the box on the left hand side of my page now. Eryn might be adding the same box to the side of his page and we might be sharing posts and stuff. Who knows, maybe even a proper network of random people that I know could have access to post to it on their sites, in their own styles, just reading the posts from the same place. I doubt it though 🙂 Things like that never happen.

I’m going to create some links to other sites, sites of people that I know, so you can understand what I’m talking about when I name someone in particular.

I may also create sometihng to add the URL of the person’s homepage when I enter their name in here. That would be nifty. Annoying if I knew more than one David, or more than one Skander… Hahaha, Skander.
