I’ve been fairly busy most days recently. Work’s been fairly calm and stuff, just enjoying not having many obligations.

At home I’ve been moving furniture around and looking after Bono and stuff. The reason for the furniture movement is that there are now carpets down! It’s so comfortable to walk around now. I love it.

Bono spent the night out of my room last night, so that’s good. I moved some of his stuff out earlier and he can start entertaining himself elsewhere now.

I went out to meet JonP, Len, Stacey, and Leanne after work yesterday, even though I had a headache (“say yes when you’re tired”). It was a nice evening. I had a foot-long sub at Subway, which was gorgeous. We went up to play pool for a while, then headed to the Cockle for a couple of drinks, and then into town for pizza. After that JonP and I walked Leanne to Bexx’s house, then walked back to our houses. We had quite a few interesting conversations and found a hypodermic needle on the way. There may be a comic to follow if I can be bothered at some undetermined point later on.

Ummm, today I started the process of signing up for an HNC here. I don’t know if I’ll complete it or anything, as usual… Since I’m not paying I’m not really interested. It’s a 2 year course, which is definitely longer than I would like to be here for, but I’m going to speak to the tutor and point out that I’ve done 5/6 of the stuff on the course and see if I can skip those bits. I’m hoping he says yes, then I can just work on the other units in advance or something. I wonder if I could get the 2 years crammed into about 6 months… That’s about as long as I think I can be bothered to put into it, this job, and this town.
