2 days to go

I’m going to watch the England vs. Macedonia football match this Saturday in Manchester with my dad. It should be pretty damn cool. I haven’t been to a football match for a long time. I’ve never seen an international side play, either.

I’m hoping England win by about 100 goals šŸ˜€ I’ll be out of the house all day, but I don’t think I’ll be taking my PSP. Might seem a bit rude, even though one of my dad’s friends is going along and they’ll probably be talking a lot.

I’ve been playing games and watching movies and TV shows a hell of a lot recently. I discovered Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip thanks to Dave. It’s a TV show from the creators of The West Wing. It’s got a couple of the same characters (2 of the best ones) as well as a few other famous faces, including Matthew Perry (yes, Chandler from Friends).

They’re basically doing to TV what they did to politics in The West Wing. Making it noble and interesting. Saying “this is how it could be, this is how it should be.” I love it.

A series called Heroes has also turned up unexpectedly. It’s one of my favourites. Well worth watching should you happen to get a chance. No doubt it’ll be on Channel 4 or Five at some point.

The new season of Lost started yesterday, so that was as messed up as usual šŸ™‚ House is continuing to be as awesome as ever too. I can’t wait until January because 24 will be back šŸ˜€

Oh well, back to watching Rashomon for now. Then back to writing VBScript at work tomorrow. I’ve almost cracked some code to make the most repetitive part of my job automated šŸ™‚ Actually, I already did that bit, this is to fix the second-most repetitive part: blanking password and unlocking accounts using LDAP and the Active Directory.

Fun stuff šŸ˜€
