Remote Recorder is a Google Android application I wrote to allow television programmes to be recorded on a Sky+ or Sky+ HD box from an Android phone without having to load a bloated electronic programming guide in the mobile browser.
The interface is kept as simple as possible. You enter the name of the show you want to record and the application communicates with Sky’s JSON services to find what you’re looking for. When you choose one of the show results the application communicates with Sky again to fetch the show times and channels. A long press (hold your finger down) on any of the results will send a record request to Sky who will forward it to your Sky+ box for you.
Set Up Remote Recording – Make sure your Sky box and account is set up.
Changelog – Find out what’s changed.
Suggestions – Make a suggestion for an improvement.

Hi Stuart,
I found your blog on twitter and I am looking for a few people for a project at the BBC. What are you up to? Do you have a CV? Ideally we need flash developers and UX people of all levels.
Kind Regards,
