We had quite a bit of snow overnight and when I got to work I snapped this picture. It doesn’t show how bad it was, but I like it anyway.

32/365 – Tough to see
I only took one picture on Sunday. There’s snow falling in this picture, but you can’t really tell. It’s the view from the spare room. Not particularly inspiring, but oh well. 🙂
31/365 – They both look guilty
I was in the dining room when I noticed the cat was up with the hamster. The hamster never seems too worried about the cat being there or anything, which is probably good, because the cat seems to like it up there.
30/365 – Some sort of train problem
When I caught the train on the 30th it was much busier than usual in the station. I assume some train got delayed or cancelled or something.
I took this picture because I thought it was funny that everyone was looking up and pointing, etc. It looks like something really interesting is happening out of shot, but it’s not. That’s where the train departure times/platforms are listed.
I also find that leg being perfectly in focus while the rest of the guy is blurry to be quite cool. 🙂
29/365 – Stupid camera, thinks it’s so smart
I got off the train and noticed that there was what I think is a planet near to the moon. I decided it would make an awesome picture. The camera on my phone is terrible, plus there was a lot of foreground light, so I couldn’t take a photo of it.
When Lizz arrived to take me home I got her to take us somewhere out of the way so I could use the proper camera in the proper darkness.
We found a place and I tried to take the picture. The camera just kept trying to focus. I turned auto-focus off and it still refused to take a picture. I held the button down for ages and it did nothing. I tried changing ISO exposure, capture mode, and every other setting I thought would have an effect.
In the end, just as I was getting really angry I moved to go back to the car and the bloody thing took a picture! It wouldn’t do it again when I tried a couple of seconds later, so this is the only picture I managed to get. Ugh.
28/365 – Robin Hood
My train was cancelled again this morning (twice in 3 days) so I had to walk from the bus station instead of the train station. This allowed me to take a bit of a shortcut by the castle.
On the way I passed by this statue of Robin Hood which is right beside the castle. I thought it’d be a good oppourtunity to take a picture I won’t get that many chances to take without going out of my way. 🙂
27/365 – Misty Bridge
I cross this bridge on my way to work in the mornings. I decided it looked quite nice in the mist, so I took a picture. The ducks are posing quite well, but I hadn’t noticed the cyclist going across the bridge. Oh well.
26/365 – Stupid trains
My train was cancelled in the morning, so I had to catch a bus. I picked up a feedback form and I want my bus fare back. It’s only £3, but I have already bought a season ticket for the train for £84.50, so I don’t particularly want to be any more out-of-pocket.
It was a lovely start to the week!
25/365 – Sausage fest
That’s probably the most sausages I’ve ever had congregated together in a house at one time, including barbecue days!
24/365 – Bottles galore
We got shopping delivered to us on Saturday. I decided to go ahead and buy 10 bottles of Pepsi because it was on offer, and I didn’t have to carry them. It amazes me how quickly I will get through them all. Perhaps I should consider drinking something else…
